Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Habitrec, operated by Bizomatic Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Who may use Habitrec

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything done through it.

2. Your content is yours

You keep all rights to everything you put into Habitrec. You grant us only the narrow licence needed to store, process and display it back to you — and to anyone you explicitly choose to share it with. That licence exists to operate the service and ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train machine learning models, and we do not sell it. See the privacy policy.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use Habitrec unlawfully, or to store unlawful material.
• Do not attempt to breach its security, or access another account.
• Do not resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement.
• Do not place automated load on it that degrades it for others.

4. Connecting third-party services

Habitrec can connect to services you already use, such as Google Calendar. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You can disconnect at any time; doing so stops the synchronisation and deletes the stored access tokens.

Events Habitrec creates are written to the calendar you choose when you connect: your main calendar, or a separate Habitrec calendar you can remove independently of anything else in your account. Where an event has changed both in Habitrec and in your calendar, we will ask you which version to keep rather than choosing for you.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose.
• You may cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid period.
• If a subscription lapses, your account becomes read-only — it is not deleted, and export remains available.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change affecting you.

6. Availability

We work to keep Habitrec available and will give advance notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

7. Your data on the way out

You can export everything, at any time, in a machine-readable format — including after a subscription has lapsed. Deleting your account starts a 30-day grace period, after which your data is permanently purged.

8. Liability

Habitrec is a planning tool. It is provided "as is", and it is not a substitute for your own judgement, nor for professional medical, financial or legal advice.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Habitrec is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take backups and take them seriously, but no service should be your only copy.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or places other users at risk. Except where the law or a serious security concern prevents it, we will tell you why and give you the opportunity to export your data.

10. Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email and in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Habitrec afterwards means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove statutory protections you have where you live.
